Former President Barack Obama promised to keep America safe from terrorism.

But it’s starting to look like Obama may have been the best friend that terror groups like ISIS, Hezbollah, and al Qaeda ever had.

ISIS thrived under Obama’s leadership. And a bombshell investigation late last year found that the Obama Administration shut down an investigation that would have stopped Hezbollah from selling drugs and weapons in the United States.

But that was all just the tip of the iceberg…

Because shocking new proof has emerged that Obama’s government knowingly steered taxpayer money to a group affiliated with al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.

As first reported by the National Review, in 2014 the U.S. Agency for International Development approved a $723,000 grant for World Vision, Inc. And $200,000 of that grant was awarded to the Sudan-based Islamic Relief Agency (ISRA) as a sub-grantee.

But that’s a BIG problem…

Because ISRA had been designated a terror organization since 2004. It had directly supported bin Laden and Maktab al-Khidamat, which eventually became al Qaeda.

ISRA has been accused of raising millions for al Qaeda, working to relocate bin Laden, and funding Iraqi insurgents, Hamas suicide bombers, and terrorists in Afghanistan.

But, wait… it gets worse.

World Vision actually NOTIFIED the Obama Administration that ISRA was an officially designated terror group.

The Obama Administration’s Treasury Department even confirmed that ISRA was on the U.S. list of terror-supporting organizations.

But, amazingly, in May 2015, the Treasury Department and State Department hammered out a deal that allowed a one-time payment of $125,000 to be released to ISRA.

That’s right… the Obama Administration KNOWINGLY steered American taxpayer funds to a known supporter of some of the most brutal terrorist organizations on Earth.

These are the same organizations that have killed Americans and have vowed to bring about the destruction of our country.

Expect these latest revelations to lead to a major federal investigation – one that could put Obama and his closest cronies on the hot seat.

For now, this is more proof that Obama’s talk about fighting terror was just lip service.

He repeatedly betrayed America and allowed terrorist organizations to thrive.

And that’s not just scandalous… it’s practically treason.

National Review notes that in July 2014 the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) approved $723,405 of U.S. taxpayer funds to go to World Vision Inc., and that out of that money, "$200,000 was to be directed to a sub-grantee: ISRA."
