MERRY CHRISTMAS, TAXPAYERS: 'VACATIOHER-IN-CHIEF' RELAXES IN HAWAII WHILE TRUMP GETS TO WORK
It’s been 8 long, expensive years. $35 million EXPENSIVE.
But it’s finally here . . . the last luxurious Obama Family Christmas vacation we’ll ever have to fund!
The Washington Times reported:
“The first family’s Christmas vacation in 2015 cost taxpayers more than $4.8 million, according to the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, which obtained Secret Service records after filing Freedom of Information Act requests and a lawsuit. Multiply that cost by eight years, and taxpayers have paid in the range of $35 million to $40 million — at a minimum — for the first family’s tropical vacations.”
While the American economy and job market suffered . . . Obama spared no expense.
This is on top of the $400,000 a year salary (plus benefits) he’ll receive for life!
President-Elect Trump has a very different stance when it comes to leisurely vacations.
Fox Business reports:
“Incoming White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer told the FOX Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo, President-elect Trump is determined to ‘make America great again,’ even if it means working around-the-clock. ‘He will never take a vacation… he can’t sit still. He’s so eager to get things done and change things up – there is never an idle moment and so there is not going to be, the word vacation will not exist in a Trump administration,’ he said.”
Unlike Obama, Trump’s proven to be a tireless worker.
He campaigned nonstop over the past year and a half!
And while Obama was on the beach Trump was still working tirelessly on his Transition Team.
One final gift to American Taxpayers: Trump won’t even take a salary as President.
The Huffington Post reported:
“’I think I have to by law take $1, so I’ll take $1 a year,” Trump said. “But it’s a ― I don’t even know what it is. Do you know what the salary is?”
“$400,000 you’re giving up,” Stahl answered.
“No, I’m not gonna take the salary. I’m not taking it.’”
Merry Christmas to all of us taxpayers . . . We finally have a President who’s going to work hard for peanuts.
