So … does anyone else remember when just two months ago President Obama was telling then-candidate Donald Trump to “stop whining” about “rigged” elections?

With all the complaining/conspiracies from the Left about Russia hacking the election, it’s easy to forget that just a little while ago, the president dismissed such talk as baseless hysteria. Luckily, there is video:

Obama’s remarks speak for themselves.

"There is no serious person out there who would suggest that you could even rig America's elections, in part because they are so decentralized. There is no evidence that that has happened in the past, or that there are instances that that could happen this time," he said.

"So I'd advise Mr. Trump to stop whining, and go make his case to get votes," the president added. Then he gave his opinion on what Hillary Clinton should do if Trump won:

"And if he gets the most votes, it would be my expectation of Hillary Clinton to offer a gracious concession speech and pledge to work with him in order to ensure that the American people benefit from an effective government.

“And it would be my job to welcome Mr. Trump, regardless of what he has said about me, or my differences with him, and escort him over to the Capitol at which there would be a peaceful transfer of power. That is what Americans do. That is why America is already great. One way to make it less great, is if you start betraying those basic American traditions that have been bipartisan and have helped to hold together this democracy now for well over two centuries."

Fast-forward to this week and Obama’s White House is suggesting that Russian cyber ne’er-do-wells helped Trump win November’s election.

"You didn't need a security clearance to figure out who benefited from malicious Russian cyberactivity," White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters Monday. "The President-elect didn't call it into question, he called on Russia to hack his opponent. He called on Russia to hack Secretary Clinton. So he certainly had a pretty good sense of whose side this cyberactivity was coming down on."

He continued by curiously inserting some unrelated details regarding Trump and Russia.

“It was the President-elect who over the course of the campaign indicated that he thought that President Putin was a strong leader," Earnest said. "The President-elect's team, his campaign, did not make any effort to obscure this."

So much for “stop whining.” The complaints from Democrats about Russian hackers or a rigged system might have had more sway with the American people had the DNC not rigged the Democratic primary against Bernie Sanders. Whining Democrats sound like insincere hypocrites.
