A moment of truth has been reached, where it is now absolutely urgent that President Barack Obama be removed from office. The alternative is a growing likelihood that the British, through their White House pawn, will unleash such a direct provocation against Russia that the outcome will be thermonuclear World War III and certain extinction. This is the only sane conclusion that can be reached in reviewing the developments of the past day.
British Prime Minister David Cameron, after having issued a July 27 ultimatum to Russia in the pages of the Sunday Times of London, has sent a letter to all NATO heads of state and to NATO’s outgoing Secretary General Rasmussen, demanding a reconfiguration of NATO to directly challenge Russia as an adversary. This includes calls by the British Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces for the creation of a Rapid Reaction Force targeted against Russia. Cameron has called for the forward basing of NATO forces in Eastern Europe, a major expansion of the military budgets of all NATO countries, and he plans to push this idea at the September NATO heads of state summit in Wales that he will be hosting.
Cameron was in Brussels yesterday meeting with Rasmussen and General Breedlove to prepare for the Wales meeting next month. Rasmussen used the occasion to up the ante against Russia by charging, unequivocally that it was the pro-Russian separatists who shot down the MH17 flight. No need for evidence, no need for an impartial investigation. Rasmussen is pushing every button for provocation and the Russians are well aware that this is not about starting a new cold war, but is about preparations for World War III unless both Russia and China cave in to Western domination.
President Obama, true to profile, is in total synch with the Cameron/British Crown provocations for war. In an exclusive interview with The Economist, President Obama seconded the Cameron blasts at Russia, delivering a series of irrational and insulting comments directed personally against President Vladimir Putin, and mocking the Russian economy as one that “produces nothing.” Obama, goaded on by the editor-in-chief and foreign editor of London’s Economist propaganda organ, declared Russia has a “Janus-like quality, both looking east and west,” and Putin “represents a deep strain in Russia that is probably harmful to Russia over the long term, but in the short term can be politically popular at home and very troublesome abroad.” In what can only be characterized as a reaction against Lyndon LaRouche’s recent touting of China’s great advances in science-driver programs like the plans for Moon industrialization mining for Helium-3 — the most powerful agent of mankind — Obama described China today as the “low cost manufacturer of the world.” Asked about the recent BRICS summit and the creation of the BRICS bank, Obama condescendingly said that these countries are ruled by leaders from an older generation that will soon be swept aside by a newer generation committed to getting in on the existing global system, which he typified by touting the already-doomed Trans-Pacific Partnership.
Not everyone finds the Cameron-Obama war provocations amusing. Stephen F. Cohen and Katrina vanden Heuvel wrote this weekend in The Nation that Obama is pushing for war with Russia. The authors warned that the U.S. is backing the Ukrainian government in escalating the confrontation with Russia over eastern Ukraine, and that the downing of MH17 should have promoted an immediate cease-fire and humanitarian intervention. Instead, with U.S. prodding, the Ukraine government is escalating its attacks on civilian populations driving the region and the world towards a hot war involving nuclear-armed powers.
As we well know, the real driver for war by the British Empire against Russia, China, India and all of humanity is the fact that the entire British Empire system is coming crashing down at breakneck speed. The Portuguese government, over the weekend, had to step in to take over Banco Espirito Santo, with the full costs and consequences of that collapse still unfolding. The fall of the Espirito Santo family empire is already reverberating in France and Brazil, where major investors have taken gigantic hits, and where holders of shares in the other Espirito Santo family companies are the latest victims of bail-in madness and looting.
Under these extraordinary circumstances, the U.S. Congress must return to Washington immediately to take up the one action that can end the headlong plunge to world war: Impeach Obama for his high crimes and misdemeanors, and immediately reinstate Glass-Steagall to bankrupt the already doomed Wall Street-London system. Any other behavior is tantamount to gambling with the survival of the human race. This is the message to get out bluntly to all sane citizens.
