Michael Savage

Dr. Savage is outraged by the actions of the D.C. police, who killed a young mother who’d led them through a high speed chase in the nation’s capital.

“I have been depressed ever since that woman was assassinated,” Savage said, adding, “I believe America died” that day (free audio).

The president’s approval ratings are now at an all-time low, especially among independents, and Savage explained why:

“Obama made one critical error: His meanness came through. His inner Grinch came out. When he closed the National Mall to the World War II vets and to the Vietnam Vets, it spread through the country like a prairie fire. Then he opened it up to the illegals and their supporters.

“The people hate him. They don’t like what he’s doing to this country” (free audio).

Rush Limbaugh

When a “low information” caller accused Limbaugh of not caring about “the working poor” before hanging up, Rush didn’t miss a beat:

“I started out as the working poor, Joe. I mean, I epitomized it. I supported myself constantly, and the working poor are the people on this program we champion each and every day. (…) What we have here is a guy who does not independently think. Classic low-information voter, classic: smug and overconfident and condescending, all the while being as wrong about everything as he can be, but thinks he has all the answers. I wish you the best, Joe. Keep hanging in out there” (free audio).

Aaron Klein

Klein suspects that the Department of Homeland Security is “out of control.” In light of the department’s recent activities, what’s its real agenda?

Klein continues his investigation into Bill De Blassio: He may well become New York City’s next mayor, and his radical ties should trouble every American. His election might very well lead to the rebirth of ACORN and strengthen other communist organizations.

Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton also returns to the show to talk about the latest news (free audio).

Mark Levin

Levin and Republican Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wisc., came to verbal blows on the air this week.

Levin reminded Johnson that he’s campaigned on the premise that “Obamacare is the greatest assault of our lifetime,” but now seemed to be backing down from the defunding fight.

Johnson defended himself by attacking Levin – for attacking him. It’s “not helpful,” he said, for Levin and other conservative pundits to accuse him and his colleagues of not being “conservative enough.”

“I wasn’t expecting to come on here with an inquisition,” Johnson complained at one point before hanging up (free audio).

Levin also raised the possibility that Obama is trying to usurp the Constitution over the debt ceiling.

The president is being pressured “by Marxists dressed up as Constitutionalists, by people in his own party, he’s being encouraged to conduct himself as a dictator, and to bypass Congress and to bypass the Constitution.”

“They want a full-blown constitutional crisis,” he warned. “Please, listen to me, this is what they want! So they can continue to shred it!”

Laura Ingraham

As illegal aliens assembled on the Mall, Rep. Jim Bridenstine, R-Okla., told Ingraham that America has “an enforcement problem.” She praised Bridensteine for his uncompromising stand on illegal immigration.

Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., echoed Bridenstine’s comments, telling Ingraham, “The Gang of Eight bill is so structurally flawed that I don’t think you could reach an honest compromise that reflects conservative principles in any way.” He too vowed not to be intimidated by “political stunts” coming from the liberal media or leftwing amnesty proponents (free audio).

Glenn Beck

“When you lose Jon Stewart on Obamacare, you’re done.”

That was Glenn Beck’s verdict after viewing a segment of “The Daily Show,” in which the influential Stewart expressed serious doubts about the new health-care program, and wondered whether or not Democrats were lying to him (free audio).

In a dramatic move, Beck revealed a secret he’s been keeping for more than a year: the tale of an alleged “coup” inside the tea party-inspired FreedomWorks organization. According to Beck, the president of the group was escorted out of his office by armed guards last year, and was told never to come back.

The original leadership of FreedomWorks was later reinstated, but as Beck explains, “There was a coup during the election, and it was powerful. They were trying to get rid of the libertarian, tea-party-minded power players, and first and foremost on that hit list was Matt Kibbe and his allies. They didn’t like the fact that FreedomWorks was cleaning house in the GOP … that they were targeting people like Orrin Hatch. It didn’t sit well with the Karl Roves of the GOP world” (free audio).
