Obama speaks at the UN... Goodbye to peace
After 60 years in the community of nations, Israels existence must not be a subject for debate, Obama proclaimed. It should be clear to all that efforts to chip away at Israels legitimacy will only be met by the unshakeable opposition of the United States.
I know that this article has already been linked by a member below, but I just had to respond to this quote by Obama. I am angry at this statement because the President of the UNITED STATES made this statement at the United Nations on the very day that same United Nations issued a report declaring Israel\'s attack on the aid flotilla last May a brutal violation of international law. That attack included an attack on a US-flagged ship and the capture of American citizens. One citizen, born in New York and carrying a US passport, was murdered by the Israelis while lying helpless on the deck of a captured ship. The UN report states quite clearly that the Israelis \"willfully\" executed their victims. Given that Israel\'s attack on the US flagged ship is illegal under international law, then Israel committed an act of wear against the United States, and Obama\'s comment above amounts to betrayal of the American people and treason of the highest order! ...WRH
