Sarkozy's sizeable discontent with Obama is based in large part on what Sarkozy sees as Obama's refusal to listen to reason or logic, as well as Obama's refusal to listen to what the rest of the world is telling him! This is particularly noteworthy—in a scandalous way—for Obama supporters because throughout Bush's two-terms, the left always accused Bush of never listening. However, now that their guy occupies the White House, foreign leaders are calling him "insane" and even a "mad lunatic" because of his very refusal to listen to the world! Oh, the delicious, rich irony.
