Obama Votes 'Present'

Observing the political misadventures of Barry Soetoro, aka Barak Hussein Obama, one has to wonder how and why, so little got so far.  The road from political professor in a small college and community organizer, to President of the United States is not unprecedented in it\'s scope, but is probably unprecedented in its brevity of time.

Moving from a state legislator in scandal ridden Illinois, to a first term senator in Washington D.C. requires that the Chicago politician  not be hesitant to engage in political intrigue as played out in Chicago.  Moving from a first term senator to President of the United States, before your term even ends, requires something more.

A short perusal of the B.O. voting record just might indicate what that something is.  The record shows that Barak Obama voted over 120 times as a state legislator by choosing to vote "present".   That is a marvelous tool to use for deniability when you have no guts for taking a position.  He was always free to waffle on any bad results, as he had taken no position on the issue.

There is at last good news.  Now we find that the official B.O. position of "present" is getting good results.  As the recent election of Scott Brown shows (and the two recent governor elections in Virginia and New Jersey), when B.O. is "present", good things happen.  In fact, in the last four high profile elections, B.O. Was "present" for three of them.  In all three where he showed up, the winner was the one B.O. was campaigning against.  When he did not show up (New York 23rd) Bill Owens the democratic candidate won.  Any one wonder why Bill Owens did not call in the Presidential Presence?  Smart man that one!

I think conservatives need to organize a fund raiser to create a campaign fund for the upcoming 2010 elections.  We can ask B.O. to show up.  Our best hope is to get the B.O. out of the White House and on the campaign trail.  He needs to be "present" to see his people go down in flames.  It is always good to see people who have no core beliefs, visibly hoisted on their own plausible deniability petard.  And when Barak is "present" I like the odds.

And that is how it looks from here to these old eyes.
