Leaders Putting Obama On Notice- ' Where Are The Jobs?'

This week is "stand up for America week" with both Republican and Black Caucus leaders questioning President Obama on "where are the jobs?"  In a hearing of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee Republican Leaders fully intend to "grill" Obama cabinet members with questions on where are the jobs for Americans?  You talk about "Stimulus Funds" creating jobs so why is the unemployment rate going up?

Congressman Conyers from the Black Caucus is also questioning and pushing President Obama on "where are the jobs for the blacks?"  The question is very embarrassing for Obama since he is the first black President and nothing seems to be happening for the black community except more unemployment.

Recent figures on how well the states are doing in exporting products was given by National Public Radio this week.  Of all 50 states the only one that was positive for exports was Mississippi and it only received a positive mark for exporting 8,000 chickens to the Ukraine.

What is so surprising according to the people reporting the figures is Mississippi has a Nissan, Toyota and Honda plant receiving generous tax abatements from the taxpayers of Mississippi to build their cars and yet the state only receives a positive mark from the Department of Commerce for being chicken farmers and exporting chickens.

Governor Haley Barbour has made several trips to Japan and is Chairman of the Governors Conference, yet his state, with all the generosity of the taxpayers of Mississippi subsidizing the Japanese can only export chickens.  The United States has been known as an industrial power yet we are known for only exporting chickens from one state, Mississippi.

This is alerting the Republican leaders and the Black Caucus to the fact that something is drastically wrong if there are no jobs.  This is a strong signal to our elected officials it is time to reinforce our national security by asking questions and standing behind the American auto industry and show just how irresponsible Nissan has been in obeying our laws.  It is time to make certain our National Defense Industry is strong for America and that means only American companies.  Our military depends on it and so do Americans to keep our country safe.

Chickens and all in Mississippi, what makes this so tragic for the black community is Nissan broke the law by retitling cars after they were in commerce and rolled back the odometers and returned the cars to commerce in 16 states thus breaking U.S. security laws and breaking many other laws such as mail fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud, etc.

The tragedy is Nissan signed an agreement with the state of Mississippi to obey all Federal, State, County and City laws and regulations, though the company knew it had broken the transportation laws with its crime of retitling the cars.  What makes it worse is the Nissan lawyer stated on letterhead that "it was common practice" to do this. Nissan's tracks can be found everywhere.

In Mississippi, Nissan took land from blacks who had lived on the land for 160 years, moved a very old cemetery, dismantled a church for business purposes with the intention of grinding it into the ground and cheated the school children by only paying one third the ad valorem taxes due the schools.  The list is so long.

Not only did Nissan get the benefits of using the taxpayers money and not paying their way in business but so did their suppliers.  Nissan even received a 4% kick back on the taxes their employees paid and so did their suppliers.  In other words, the American taxpayers, especially those in Mississippi, carried the burden of financing Nissan to make or assemble cars for sale as the company continued to undermine the American economy by not paying taxes and by repatriating their funds to Japan.

Fortunately the Republic leaders and the Black Caucus are catching on to what is happening and are questioning President Obama, "Where are the jobs?"

These leaders understand that the American auto industry has created "Mainstreet America" and that 7 out of 10 jobs are related to the American auto industry.  Nissan and the other Japanese companies are trying their best to control "Mainstreet" and receiving weakened "yen payments" from Japan are trying to hallow out jobs in the U.S.

The Republican leaders and members of the Black Caucus are challenging Obama to stop these practices and bring criminal companies to justice who deliberately ignore American laws.  The Obama Cabinet members will receive a strong grilling so watch their answers.  We all need to question them.  It is time for Nissan to play by American rules.

The company not only broke the law but it was the first in line in the "pig trough" to take TALF funds from the Federal Reserve of $1.5 billion.  Then Nissan representatives ran to our Federal labs to help them with research for its "Lead" car which is supposedly environmentally sound.  Nissan not only took this money knowing it had broken American laws and had to give the money back--but it lined up in the "pig trough" with the Department of Energy for $1.5 billion in Clean Fuel Funds.

Again, Nissan is not entitled to those funds because it has ignored all the American laws in the crime of retitling the cars and rolling back the odometers.  The parent company committed this crime as did the finance arm participate so they have put all the property of Nissan at risk.

In addition Toyota has been in line with its hand out for Federal funds and their cars are not safe.  Toyota has recalled some 4 million cars because of the gas pedal sticking and one family if not more have been killed when their car accelerated to 120 miles per hour.  The Prius stops on wet streets or in the snow so is not safe, but that too is kept out of the public eye.

In addition a Toyota spokesman was declaring "it was a red warning flag" if only American manufacturers could sell cars to the American Army.

Apparently the Republican Leaders and the Black Caucus have had enough of the foreigners coming in an attacking the American job base and our National Defense Industry, the automobile industry.

With one quarter billion registered vehicles in the U.S. and Japan in a dire financial situation with stimulus funds it is essential our American leaders stand tall for America.  It is time for President Obama to answer their challenge and stand with the American auto industry and jobs.  The way to do this is to make Nissan accountable for breaking American laws.  Nissan is just the "test case" to open the doors for other Japanese companies.

Our political leaders know what America needs and they are demanding answers from the Obama cabinet and President Obama to "throw the bums out."
