A LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA
As an observer from another time and place.
It is important to recognize that the individual and party platform must be changed starting now. The People have chosen you to Lead. A Leader must make the decisions to do what is right. Might I suggest that you ask all those representing we the people, put a tack in their shoe so as they walk in Washington and when they are away from those they represent and gave them that honor of speaking and acting for them, with each step they will feel the pain.
That will allow them to walk to the committee meeting or the private meeting they hold with their constituents and feel the pain. When they sit down hopefully they will remember the pain and make the right choices for the people, and when they get up with every step they will feel the pain and reflect on those choices prior to delivering their messages or voting, where they can reflect on their choices to do the right thing for the people and not the special orders from their party or the special interest groups.
Please put the same tack in your shoe because we have voted…. And elected a leader…. And let us the people know when you are not getting what you need.
We have earned the right to know the truth, so if there are those pulling you in a different direction that you believe are not right and best for this country, you have the obligation to tell us.
Please exercise the right of the people so we can fight. I think you will be surprised at the peoples will to do what is right.
