NOTHING HAS CHANGED IN 2,059 YEARS, THE RULERS STILL RULE AND THE PEOPLE STILL SUFFER

There has been tyranny on planet earth -- in one form or another -- since the first human(s) existed here.
"If there were only two people in the world, there would still be tyranny." Tyranny, control, getting ones way, manipulation, and selfishness are the mainstay of human behavior, and that will never change, no matter how much time passes.
Even with the changing of the props, the lines are always the same, and the #1 reason why that is, is because the ruling classes know that people are easily distracted and entertained by cheap parlor tricks, floats, clowns, lion tamers, and midgets, and seldom if ever, seriously weigh the substance of words, and how much they really differ from actions.
The norm has always been a societal arrangement based on a master-slave relationship -- a unspoken food chain of sorts -- whereas the slaves are made to think that They can gather more for themselves by parroting the rich, and powerful, so that They never come together on their own behalf, choosing rather to mindlessly betray each other, which keeps Them in a perpetual state of dishonor, contradiction, hypocrisy, and dual mindedness that dampens Their creativity and the power of imagination.
The slaves are mind-controlled from birth into thinking that They're helpless victims, who could never survive, absent the presence of Their sadistic, and psychotic surrogate parent, the State, when the exact opposite is true. "The scam maintained and made more real for the slave by the constant reinforcing of artificial lack, and reward."
"It's a vicious cycle sports fans, and it never, ever changes." If you could look into the future 100,00 years, you would see the same game being played out as you see right now, but with different props.
The setup 'is what it is', but very few have the backbone to face the awful truth about it squarely.
