Power.
As we are given to understand power, it is wielded by force; and when defiance is beyond understanding, beyond the comprehension that this time is the last time, power panics and leaks into the media - NYC police terrorizing young female OWS with tasers and batons... at the beginning of the retaliation.
The only place in recent history where power was handed over without a civil war was South Africa, and that I believe was part of a long-term economic Brazil, Russia, India, China and South African (BRICS) strategy that the west fell for while its eye was on the profit from war disguised as a fight over middle east oil.
So we are looking at global entities fundamentally“opposed” to each other over power, which resides in the control of the money supply (“I care not who makes the laws...”)
As always there are two sides (Yin and Yang) in this truly global conflict: on the one side, western imperialism advancing through the terror of shock and awe, and on the other, eastern development advancing through trade and aid, both into the Third World.
On both sides there are casualties, too, collateral damage. But on one side it's death, on the other it's perhaps a living opportunity created by a lost job.
So what are they going to do? The western powers that be, (China is not that interested in OWS) these western holders of a centuries-old financial status quo, the moneylenders who've been back in the temple (in collusion with government since the Tulip Mania Demonstration in the middle 1600's), the usurers of Tacitus' Rome... the Military Industrial Complex of Wall Street, the Bank of International Settlements, the New York Federal Reserve?
