Does the US Treasury Dept Anticipate World Rule?

"Jihad" is a popular name within a certain group of people (humans) - two of the men currently facing trial in Australia for attempted mass murder (jihadi activities) have sons called Jihad. One of them translated the word as meaning 'a celebration of life'

It was during the first Holy Land Foundation trial last year that the Muslim Brotherhood memorandum about their "grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within" came to light. This verdict is a huge official recognition of the reality of that stealth jihad, and a huge setback for the likes of CAIR, which was named an unindicted co-conspirator in this case.

The elected officials familiar to us put on a good show, but they control little of the real action. Obama has suggested reform in health, energy, education and labor [EFCA] that could have recovered jobs and made new ones. The first step was to restructure financial institutions. When this didn't happen, many economists realized a full recovery is beyond our reach.

Who benefits from this? I would cite the members of the second government corporate America, the military/industrial complex and the biggest banks. They pursued their own interests and ignored what's best for ordinary citizens. In the next election we can throw out the rascals, but this would not alter anything. Most of us have been aware of this since 1976 when the Frank Church Committee exposed many of the inner-workings of COINTELPRO.

Progressive Expectations; Liberal Punishments

In a few days after the inauguration, we anticipated the repeal of the Patriot and Military Commissions Acts. We wondered why the Obama administration persisted to bring bipartisanship into play when they gained few or no Republican votes at all. The President's proposals often fell short of the 60 Senate votes required to overcome a filibuster. The Democrats did not employ reconciliation that limited debate to 20 hours and reduced the number to 51-votes needed a simple majority to pass the legislation.

Almost daily the reports of Republican wrong doing mounted. Yet, the President went into denial. The worst was his backtracking on torture. Senior Republicans felt free to confess to acts they claimed not to be torture. When legal experts cited the examples as clearly torture and murder, those guilty fell behind the ancient national security defense. Abusing prisoners had kept us safe.

Is Geithner Extending his Treasury Department to Envelope the World? For whom?

Geithner further states, “These (problems) are all welcoming signs, but the process of financial recovery and repair is going to take time. The people of Europe and America will have suffered enough to embrace a World Treasury Department.” This last statement makes one look at the major crisis as one that has been contrived in order for the government to have a solution to a 'problem' that has the people crying out for.

The Department of Homeland Security Has Provided Another Clue

A few weeks ago the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a nine page report, entitled “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.” The document blazed a new trail for witch hunting.

“Right-wing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly anti-government, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”

The opening line of the “Right-wing Extremism” Report says, “The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis has no specific information that domestic right-wing terrorists are currently planning acts of violence, but right-wing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about several emergent issues.”

Clearly, the DHS believes all that separates a terrorist from an extremist is an act of violence, but the belief system and motivation is the same. If a right-wing extremist inspires a similarly-minded dupe to commit violence, he is accessory to the crime.  Says the report, the threat of violence is fueled by the downturn in the economy and the election of an Afro-American president and the threat of more gun control legislation.

What's Going on Here?

When we scrape the bottom of the economy, we may be in for big changes. We have some clues, but no one is putting them together for us. One thing is sure. The changes won't improve life for us ordinary inhabitants on the planet.

Author's Bio: Born a month before Pearl Harbor, I attended world events from an early age. My first words included Mussolini, Patton, Sahara and Patton. At age three I was a regular listener to Lowell Thomas. My mom was an industrial nurse a member of the AFL/CIO. My dad was a painting contractor. We shopped at the Working Man's Store. Dad's reading matter was the Old Mole the house organ of the Socialist Workers Party. I played the saxophone and became a young fan of Charlie Parker, Lester Young and Duke Ellington. Naturally, I gravitated to the Civil Rights movement. After college to avoid the draft, I joined the US Army Reserve. Alas, this came to crowd control, which was a euphemism for busting radical potheads. When I ducked out of this duty, my commander bundled me off to a unit doomed to go to Vietnam. Ironically, my old unit went to Vietnam and the new one stayed home. I studied economics in graduate school where I watched America go mad with war. Afterwards, I joined the rat race for a decade. When Ronnie Reagan became President, I took up residence in Israel. The 11 books listed below describe my adventures in Israel. The articles reflect additional thoughts that expand on the author's ten volumes Genesis Begins the Millennia. The work begins in 1995 with a fictional account of ordinary Israelis absorbed with everyday events. There are extraordinary happenings the characters gradually recognize as portents of the Messianic Age. Volumes four and five show why the Messiah decided to delay His arrival. Volumes six through ten [Tradebombers] begin six weeks before the 9/11 World Trade Center tragedy. Again, the characters portray ordinary citizen reaction to extraordinary events.
