Well, with all the world falling apart around us, isn't it comforting that President Bush found it such an important issue that he outlawed non-digital televisions? Now, if you possess a non-digital television, you are forced to purchase a digital converter. But is there a more nefarious aspect to the forced conversion?
Note the link below. An electronics buff dismantled a new Magnavox Digital Converter and what did he find? A camera and microphone. Your government spying on you again?
Don't feel immune if you own a flat screen television. They are reportedly built with spying equipment in them already.

You know about the FISA phone tapping of Americans without a warrant. It speaks of spying on foreign threats, but it is permitted against Americans at home - without a warrant.

You know about the dismantling of Habeas Corpus, which now permits the government to hold you, without even charging you for a crime or telling you what you have done wrong, INDEFINITELY!

This is the same government that has just allowed over a decade of uncontrolled theft on Wall Street of everything from your penny stock investments to your retirements without a single arrest. Do you still trust them?
I could go on, but don't you see a pattern just with the issues presented? These people are dismantling our constitution right before our own eyes, moving us into tyranny. The constitution is a control on government. Remove the controls on a force and you have what - an uncontrolled force? Have we not learned enough by history that uncontrolled governments end up being murderous criminals and thugs that steal everything from their own people, from their property to their lives.
The guns are going to be the last thing they take before we descent into tyranny. Be wise, don't let them have your guns, lest you be prepared for the worst.
