Chairman House Judiciary Committee

House of Representatives

Washington DC

Dear Congressman Conyers,

The House of Representatives and the U.S Senate, in a joint resolution must obey the U.S Constitution.  If the House and Senate fail to recognize and adhere to their Constitutional duty, the legislators will be violating the oath of office taken. That is treason as the founding father’s understood it, and they considered treason through failure to uphold the oath of office.  When was the last time, or was there ever a first, that you have viewed  the physical health surrounding America’s structural foundation. I am not referring to the breathtaking sight of the decay from outside your Congressional  office, something more grander with a wider scope. The empty, abandoned, and shattered window factories, once the pride of the finest manufacturing base and model of the world,  could confuse a world traveler into believing, this destination was not where he intended to appear.  The sight through the shattered window pane , is reminiscent  of war torn countries  ravaged by neglect of their physical infrastructure , not of  a successful economic model.. In the distance, million of foreclosed homes, once considered by the hundred of thousands unemployed workers, as their American dream, have turned into a nightmare.  A proud people, who carried this nation on their backs, are  forced to examine alternative living conditions, tent cities had only applied to weekend scouting trips, in their old world.  Congressman, your own state, the birthplace of automotive creativity and excellence, is now a junkyard of abandoned and repossessed  automobiles.  Long weekend getaways, the children will understand, they will have to be some sacrifices, as $ 5 a gallon gas, and profits to Exxon-Mobile  have to be priority.. Congressman Conyers, where and when did this all start to unravel??  The two towers that crumbled, were not the initiator but the rallying cry, to greater resistance and anger.  American’s  have enormous patience and compassion, Congressman, but there is always a boiling point, and their anger is not directed, at what was once called Babylon and Persia.  We know too well, what needs to transpire, in order to have justice served. The 35 articles of impeachment, introduced by Congressman Kucinich,  against a unelected President, who has brought misery on the American populace and the world, has reached the House Judiciary Committee, of which you are Chairman. As I mentioned in the first paragraph, Treason can be upheld in the U.S Constitution, as our founding father’s understood it, “as failure to uphold the oath of office.” Congressman you have a Constitutional duty to fulfill, put the 35 articles of impeachment against George W. Bush to a vote.  Please do not fail to uphold the oath of your office and the chairmanship of the House Judiciary Committee..

                                                 Sincerely,

                                                 George Karavelis
