The migrant caravan continues to chip away at Donald Trump’s efforts to block their invasion.

They’ve acquired some disturbing allies in this battle.

But now all hell is breaking loose as one Robert Mueller linked judge made this shocking ruling about the caravan entering America.

Earlier this year, then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced changes to the rules governing requests for asylum.

Barack Obama threw open the borders by loosening the criteria for what qualified migrants for asylum.

The Obama administration added fear of domestic or gang violence as credible reasons to grant migrants asylum.

This invited a flood of hundreds of thousands of Central American migrants pouring into America and demanding asylum.

The Trump administration yanked back this welcome mat the Obama administration rolled out in an effort to assert control over America’s Southern border.

But like so many instances of Trump taking action to fulfill his campaign promises, the left had a ready-made lawsuit.

Lawyers for the American Civil Liberties Union UC Hastings Center for Gender and Refugee Studies filed suit.

But since these groups cherry picked a friendly court packed with liberal judges, the outcome was never in doubt.

Washington, D.C. District Court Judge Emmett Sullivan struck down the administration.

“The court holds that it has jurisdiction to hear plaintiffs’ challenges to the credible fear policies, that it has the authority to order the injunctive relief, and that, with the exception of two policies, the new credible fear policies are arbitrary, capricious, and in violation of the immigration laws,” Judge Sullivan wrote.

Justice Department spokesman Steven Stafford fired back at Sullivan’s lawless ruling.

“Under the laws passed by Congress, asylum is only for those who have a legitimate fear of persecution on the basis of their race, nationality, religion, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group,” Stafford said. “We are reviewing our options with regard to this ruling, and we will continue to restore the rule of law in our immigration system.”

If Judge Emmett Sullivan’s name sounds familiar, it should.

Judge Sullivan is the Judge who oversaw Robert Mueller’s sentencing of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

Sullivan caused a stir when he accused Flynn of treason for his work lobbying for the Turkish government while he was still working for the Trump campaign.

The Judge later apologized for this remark, but the damage was done.

Treason is not a charge that gets thrown around lightly.

It’s outlined in the Constitution with very specific criteria that need to be met in order for the government to bring those charges against an individual.

A Judge should be expected to know.

That outburst – followed by the lawless ruling in the asylum case – led many Americans to wonder if this Judge was inherently biased against Donald Trump.

His connection to the Mueller probe raised eyebrows among Trump supporters as soon as they saw the decision.
