from the state of Connecticut appear to be so concerned over a
false-arrest lawsuit filed against them by New Jersey radio host and
blogger Hal Turner, they have dumped their own Attorney General?s
Office and hired a major law firm to defend against the suit. Turner
filed the $50 Million lawsuit last November alleging false arrest,
unlawful imprisonment, malicious prosecution and other civil rights
violations after winning acquittal in 2011 on charges filed against
him by Connecticut officials back in 2009. The charges stemmed from a
blog posting made by Turner which called Connecticut "tyrannical" and
promised to release the home addresses of certain officials in that
state.
