The last time I took our case against ObamaCare to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia, I faced the legal team from the United States Attorney General’s office and three judges who were Democrat appointees – including two by President Obama and one from Bill Clinton.

 

 

 

Was I concerned about what we were facing? Absolutely. But I was also confident – confident in our thorough preparation and in knowing that we were in the right, representing millions of Americans who see ObamaCare as a blatant power-grab on the part of the federal government.

 

 

Amazingly, as the court’s deliberative period after the hearing progressed, grassroots support continued to intensify as thousands more signed our Amici Book and became part of the prayer effort, even though we didn’t request additional signers.

 

My legal team and I were incredibly encouraged by the ongoing support throughout the case and I know it made all the difference in what has unfolded in the months that followed.

 

 

Now we find ourselves at the doorstep of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals once again, and will soon stand before those same three judges at the direction of the United States Supreme Court.

 

We will once again face a legal team from the United States Attorney General’s office with what the media has been calling the most advanced case opposing ObamaCare in the nation.

Because of the Supreme Court ruling last June that staggered the nation and the subsequent disappointment in the 2012 general election, many conservative Americans are understandably deflated.  But that attitude is not worthy of the God we serve!

 

This is a time when we should all be rejoicing that God has given us yet another opportunity to defeat ObamaCare in court!  

 

For this latest battle, we have set a goal to bring 100,000 citizens into the courtroom with us through our Amici Book. Since initiating this effort just before Christmas, over 30,000 freedom-loving Americans have added their names.

 



While we are still awaiting the court date to be set, my team and I are using every available moment to prepare for this all-important court appearance.  I believe Liberty Counsel’s lawsuit against ObamaCare is America’s best hope to end the federal takeover of our healthcare system and its deadly impact on our culture in 2013.

 

We are sparing no effort to prepare for this showdown. But an important part of that preparation is the knowledge that you are in this fight with me!
