Tracy Henke is Resigning
grant and training money to Missouri at the expense of more vulnerable locations like New York City, New Jersey, and Washington, DC irritated some Homeland Security Department officials. The word is that many career officials in the department are happy to see Henke go.
Ironically, Henke, while a Deputy Associate Attorney General in the Justice Department, testified on June 9, 2005 before the House Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security on "Protecting Our Nation's Children From Sexual Predators and Violent Criminals."
