FBI serves as terror tool of US one-percenters: Analyst

“The FBI manages to ignore huge amounts of criminality in the United States, we could look at the banks, what has gone on in the banks and how no Wall Street executives have been prosecuted or are in jail today, top Wall Street executives, for massive criminality, fraud, money laundering, drug money laundering, the FBI has looked the other way of found, for some reason, too difficult to go after them,” said Richard Becker with the A.N.S.W.E.R. coalition, in a Thursday interview with Press TV.
Referring to the recent incidents of mass murders in the US he added that, the FBI has not only ignored the crimes committed by the “white supremacist” but has also described them as lone gunmen, while they are “in fact part of fascist, terrorist groups in the United States”.
“In reality we know that the FBI has often been involved in and leading those kinds of organizations from the Ku Klux Klan to the neo-Nazis, to the extreme right-wing anti-abortion groups,” Becker noted.
A federal judge in the US on Tuesday rejected a lawsuit filed against the country’s administration over spying by the FBI on Muslims in Orange County, California.
The move came in response to a lawsuit filed last year when FBI sent an undercover informant, named Craig Monteilh, to the mosques of Orange County. Muslims say the agency has violated their civil liberties.
“I think that what we have seen in the case of the Orange County is a complete and total fishing expedition by the government, by [Craig] Monteilh who the informers’ own accounts, he was sent into as many as ten mosques and directed to gather as much information as he could on everyone,” the analyst explained.
He further argued that, the FBI uses informers and surveillance on people not because those people are suspected of any wrongdoing or any criminal activity but only because “they are Muslim.”
“They [the FBI] are the apparatus of security and terror against the progressive movements on behalf of the super-rich in the United States and the government that is really under the complete control of the super-rich at this point,” Becker concluded.
