Outrageous nullification of the 4^th Amendment, by Homeland Security!

The Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution was written to guard against unreasonable searches and seizures. The Amendment specifically requires that search and arrest warrants be judicially sanctioned, and supported by probable cause. Search and arrest should be limited in scope according to specific information supplied to the issuing court. It was adopted as a response to the abuse of the ‘writ of assistance’, an oppressive type of general search warrant used during the American Revolution.

Speech by JUDGE ANDREW NAPOLITANO (no relation to Janet Napolitano): Due to a hidden clause that was written into the 300-page Homeland Security Act, FBI agents have the authority to handwrite their own search warrants on the spot (without asking a judge), serve you with that warrant, and raid your house or place of business at their leisure. Furthermore, to cover their tracks the same law authorizes them to threaten you with 5 years in jail if you ever tell anyone – including your personal attorney or your spouse - that the FBI was even there! Judge Napolitano cites a specific example where this actually happened to an 86-year-old woman.
