Letter To The Editor
The Jesus I follow would NEVER:
Condone lies...George W. Bush LIED about his reasons for attacking Iraq.
(Isn't it ironic that President Bill Clinton lied about his affair trying to salvage his marriage, which anyone in that situation would do, and the "Christians" still blast him for that when his lies did not kill thousands of people as President George W. Bush's lies have done? Yet the "Christians" NEVER say a word condeming this. Something is terribly wrong with this picture!)
Jesus would NEVER help put people without jobs so the already rich could get richer at the "expense" of "slave labor" overseas as has been done here in the United States since the first Bush Administration.
Jesus would NEVER turn his back on his people and their pain and suffering. He turned none away who came to him for healing; yet this administration does nothing for the millions without health care.
Jesus would NEVER attack a country or its people. Selected President George W. Bush did...without provacation even and lied why he attacked them!
Jesus would NEVER harm the environment; yet this President seems determined to do just that! We need no more oil wells....just allow those we have to pump. Even better yet stop being the hypocrite and money-hoarder and save our planet by using alternative fuel...such as been proven, recycling garbage into fuel. The landfills are overflowing. This would solve several SERIOUS problems!)
If we destroy Earth where will we live
Jesus warned to BEWARE of the Pharasisee's who pray in public to be
seen and elevated in the eyes of the people.
TRUE "Christians" NEVER have to toot their Christianity - it just naturally flows forth and is unmistakable.
TRUE "Christians do follow the ways and teachings of Jesus and have NO need to try to convince the world of their "Christness". Christianity proves Itself!
When one's walk does not match that one's talk....something is askew.
