Dems propose ENDLESS helicopter money during the pandemic, just pay everybody to stay home… this is NOT an economy

Democrats are continuing to use the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic to advance their Left-wing agenda of socialism, which will not only prolong the economic fallout but will actually propel the country into perpetual depression.

Prior to the outbreak, hard-core Leftist Democrats were pushing a scheme known as ‘basic universal income,’ where by the federal government sends households a monthly stipend to ‘fight inequality.’

As in other Democrat economic schemes, universal basic income is socialism on steroids — a program that works out very well until the government runs out of money or inflation due to overprinting of money becomes so high that the dollars being paid out aren’t worth the paper they are printed on.

Right on cue, a pair of Democrats are now proposing this scheme, but just long enough to ‘get us through’ the pandemic.

CBS affiliate KDKA reports:

Two House Democrats have introduced legislation that would give millions of Americans $2,000 per month during the coronavirus pandemic.

The new bill is called the Emergency Money for the People Act.

It was introduced by Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, and Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif.

Yes, of course, ‘money for the people.’ Sounds a lot like “power to the people,” the ‘battle cry’ of Left-wing Marxists on college campuses and beyond during the late 1960s.

“The economic impact of this virus is unprecedented for our country. As millions of Americans file for unemployment week over week, we have to work quickly to patch the dam – and that means putting cash in the hands of hard-working families,” Ryan said in a press release.

Such a program will make slaves out of us

The bill calls for paying “every qualifying American” over 16 $2,000 a month until the employment level returns to pre-COVID-19 levels. (Related: Why are we paying communist China to conduct research on biological weapons?)

Which, by the way, was historic at around 3.4 percent. Yes, the economy that President Donald Trump built.

But that’s the catch: If employment doesn’t reach that level again, then the money would just continue in perpetuity, hooking an entire generation on a ‘freebie’ and making them almost completely dependent on the federal government.

Just like good little socialists, Marxists, and Communists.

“A one-time, twelve hundred dollar check isn’t going to cut it,” said Rep. Ro Khanna in a press release. “Americans need sustained cash infusions for the duration of this crisis in order to come out on the other side alive, healthy, and ready to get back to work. Members on both sides of the aisle are finally coming together around the idea of sending money out to people. Rep. Ryan and I are urging leadership to include this bill in the fourth COVID relief package to truly support the American working class.”

Well, Americans right now are living under harsh economic conditions because they were  imposed on them by politicians — Democrats and Republicans alike, governors and mayors who have decreed they close their “non-essential businesses” which has led to some 20 million Americans being thrown out of work in near-record time.

Twelve hundred bucks may not ‘cut it,’ but neither does destroying the world’s biggest economy just so Democrats can implement the socialism they’ve been dying to impose for years now.

Meanwhile, the $1,200 sent to most Americans is coming from a massive $2.2 trillion ‘relief’ measure that won’t go far enough because it can’t. If governments could helicopter money to their people and create an economy, then all economies would be socialist utopias. But they’re not; those economies don’t work and have failed each and every time they’re tried, with Venezuela being the most recent, glaring example.

America doesn’t need to go deeper into debt with a ‘free money’ program that only makes government slaves out of all of us. We need our economy back. We need governors and mayors to trust us and our small business owners to do the right things to mitigate the virus while still managing to earn a living and create jobs and growth.

That’s how you create and sustain an economy.
