The First Day Of Schiff’s Impeachment Was a Total Mess, Here Is What Happened

Adam Schiff had the first public impeachment hearing into Donald J. Trump over the complaint of a whistleblower, simply calling the ordeal a train wreck wouldn’t do this disaster justice. The hearing didn't go well even from a Dem point of view, it was simply a mess. Adam Schiff has shown the world that he is totally inept and unable to do the most basic of things required in his role. The hearings also showed us how much the Democrats are willing to lie to get this President out of office.

Here is what happened at the mess of an impeachment hearing on Wednesday:

1.) Who Testified

Two officials gave testimony at the hearing, one was William B. Taylor and the other was George P. Kent. Taylor is the US Ambassador to Ukraine and Kent is a senior State Department Official.

2.) Ukrainians Unaware

According to the testimony of William Taylor the Ukrainian President and his team were unaware of the fact that aid was being withheld while he spoke Trump about the Hunter Biden scandal. This would infer that there was no quid pro quo as suggested by the Democrats and the whistleblower.

3.) Unreliable Testimony

Most if not all of the testimony that was heard was unreliable as it was all 2nd hand knowledge. While those giving testimony have long careers and have served the government for many years but the low-level staffers who run in between all these officials might not be so honest.

4.) Unlikely To Have Impact

The public hearing was bad for Democrats as many who took the time to watch it will remain unswayed and those that didn't see it will likely remain in their position. Most Democrats will see this as the end of Trump while many Republicans will continue in the belief that Trump is completely innocent.

5.) Schiff Preparing For something Else

Adam Schiff, who has been the loudest voice in the room on impeachment (although he hasn’t been the brightest), seems to be preparing for something else other than impeachment. Schiff seems to have been laying the groundwork for charges against the President after a theoretical impeachment. In particular, Schiff laid out the groundwork for charging President Trump with obstruction.

6.) The Whistleblower

There has been massive debate as to whether or not the whistleblower should be outed, this debate carried into the first portion of the hearing. This is all in spite of the fact that Adam Schiff himself accidentally outed the whistleblower in his memo, hidden hundreds of pages within the document was the identity of the whistleblower.

7.) Devin Nunes Comment

One of the most prolific comments made at the hearing was by Devin Nunes, he stated that this was no more than a low budget Ukrainian sequel to the Russia hoax. This comment speaks to many who can’t help but feel we live in a constant cycle of attack from the left over what eventually becomes nothing.
