Congress has received testimony under oath from someone who was in the room during the Ukraine phone call at the heart of the impeachment. Tim Morrison is a top National Security Council (NSC) official. He said the transcript that President Trump released of the phone call “accurately and completely reflects the substance of the call.”

I have read the call transcript and President Trump’s words completely fall within the duties of one of the highest laws in our land - a treaty with Ukraine signed by President Clinton.

The treaty was drafted in 1998 and it specifically authorizes our nation to seek "mutual assistance" from Ukraine on criminal matters.

This treaty directs the two nations to share information from "testimony,” or provide “documents, records, and articles of evidence; serving documents; [and] locating or identifying persons” in relation to criminal activity.

Interestingly, both now-Speaker Nancy Pelosi and now-Majority Leader Steny Hoyer were U.S. Representatives back when this treaty was ratified.

During his phone call, President Trump was doing exactly what this treaty authorizes our nation to do. When there are concerns about international corruption from companies paying a ridiculous amount of money to the families of politicians, those concerns should be investigated and, if confirmed, then prosecuted.

Our treaty directs that we should share this type of information. Especially when, in years past, the White House shut down an ongoing investigation into potential corruption. In this situation, the President is the only one with authority high enough to overturn the Vice-President's previous meddling in international policies to protect his son’s company.

But you won’t hear the media talking about this! Now is the time for us to rise up and demand the exoneration of President Trump who is working to drain the depths of the swamp. And he is working not just in D.C. but trying to untangle this web of corruption that spans all across the world.

Both today and tomorrow closed-door meetings are still being held. Rep. Adam Schiff, who is leading the investigation spoke to the press today. He refused to even give a schedule for when he would move from closed-door meetings into open-door meetings.

Schiff’s refusal is in direct opposition to the impeachment resolution which states that “The chair... shall designate an open hearing or hearings.”

In his same announcement, Schiff was not even able to point to a specific law that was broken. He made claims that there was an “abuse of office” and that now they are trying to build a case for “obstruction.”

But the only thing that is being obstructed is the injustice, lies, and hoaxes coming out of his own office.

As Brit Hume pointed out, “The president is the constitutional author of foreign policy, so the idea he is 'subverting' it is illogical."

But logic never stopped these radicals before. Democrats and their puppets are falling all over themselves to find or create some wording that sounds official, and bad.

And with the news media frantically working on their side, up and down the halls of Congress there is mounting pressure to impeach the President over illogical, fancy-sounding words that have absolutely no basis in either the law or reality.
