Here is What You Need To Know About Lindsey Graham's New Resolution

Senator Lindsey Graham has come out in support of the President in the recent impeachment saga and coming with him is with a host of other Senators. He is attempting to get a bill through that will condemn the house for moving on impeachment the way they currently are, so far 50 others have signed the bill.
Many though are calling this political showboating and a nothing burger but it is much more than that, here is what you need to know about the bill:

- Mitt Romney
- Lisa Murkowski
- Susan Collins

The Resolution Graham is bringing out is one that demands the Household a formal vote on impeachment proceedings before they continue with any of the active investigations that the House is engaged in. This forces Democrats to put their impeachment stance on record, this might change the way 2020 shakes out in congressional races.

The Resolution also demands that the Republicans, the House minority, are afforded the ability to engage in the process. This will allow the Republicans to call forward witnesses and engage Democrat witnesses. This would simply even the playing field.

The most important thing that this resolution will do is it will force the Democrats to give Trump the rights of every other President that has faced impeachment proceedings. Trump would be able to defend himself during the impeachment fight.

This will either force the Democrats to stop impeachment and this will secure Trump for the rest of his term or the Democrats will have to hold a formal vote on impeachment, this would impact races in close districts and completely change the makeup of Congress in 2020. Democratic candidates may even be wrapped up in the mess and give Trump a path to victory if the Democrats chose to vote for impeachment.
