They couldn’t hide it – now Rand Paul is dropping the Senate hammer!
House Democrats continue a push to impeach President Trump over a phone call with Ukraine, but what they’ve done seems so much worse.
Thanks to the release of the call’s transcript, there is no hard evidence Trump did anything wrong. He did not clearly pressure Ukraine to do anything, but they keep digging.
On the other hand, there is hard evidence that someone tried to pressure Ukraine. A letter was sent to their top prosecutor, threatening to withhold U.S. support if he didn’t obey their wishes.
It wasn’t sent by Republican leaders, though, but top Democrat senators.
Now, Rand Paul is calling for official action.

Sens. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) and Patrick J. Leahy (D-Vt.) – “wrote a letter to Ukraine’s prosecutor general… “In the letter, they implied that their support for U.S. assistance to Ukraine was at stake.”
Uh-oh, Democrats! How are you going to dodge this call from Rand Paul for your senators to be investigated?
Last year, Democrats Robert Menendez, Richard Durbin, and Patrick Leahy sent a letter to Ukraine. They demanded the government investigate Trump. At the time, the Mueller probe was still going on.
It seems these Democrats were hoping Ukraine could find evidence that Trump worked with Russia. They even threatened that if Ukraine didn’t help them, it could lose U.S. support.
It seems like Democrats threaten foreign countries all the time! This is just like how Joe Biden threatened Ukraine by saying he’d withhold $1 billion in aid unless they fired a prosecutor investigating his son’s company.
So, let me get this straight. Democrats can threaten Ukraine as much as they want, to protect their own agenda.
But Trump can’t even make an innocent phone call with no threats?
How often do we see Democrats doing this? They accuse Trump of the very things they seem to be guilty of.
Rand Paul should be calling for a probe into what these Democrats did. Really, every Republican should be. They are willing to impeach a president over a simple call.
Yet they ignore outright threatens to Ukraine from their own people? We want an investigation now.
