Many eyebrows were raised when former Attorney General Loretta Lynch met with former President Bill Clinton aboard her government plane in June of 2016.

It came in the heat of the FBI’s investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her illegal private email server.

But now, a new lawsuit threatens to bust open the cover-up surrounding their meeting.

Days after they met, FBI Director James Comey announced he would not recommend criminal charges be brought against Clinton for mishandling classified information.

Many Americans were outraged to hear she was getting away with breaking the law.

And they pointed to the mysterious meeting Lynch held with Bill Clinton as evidence the fix was in.

They wondered if Clinton was given a heads-up by Lynch that the FBI would not recommend the Department of Justice pursue a criminal case.

Lynch claimed she and former President Clinton just talked about their grandkids.

But critics do not believe that to be the case.

The nonpartisan group Judicial Watch requested all documents related to their rendezvous.

The timing of the meeting and Comey’s announcement did make people wonder — so much so, that Judicial Watch sent a formal request for documents on June 29, 2016:

All records and/or transcripts of a meeting held between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton in June 2016.

All records of communication sent to or from officials in the Office of the Attorney General regarding the meeting held between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton in June 2016.

All records of communication sent to or from officials in the Office of the Deputy Attorney General regarding the meeting held between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton in June 2016.

All references to the meeting held between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton contained in day planners, calendars and schedules in the Office of the Attorney General.

But the Department of Justice never responded.

They sat on the request and ran out the clock.

So Judicial Watch recently filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Department of Justice to force them to produce the relevant documents.

Independent Journal Review also reported:

“When they never heard back, Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Department of Justice on March 15, 2017. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said:

“The infamous tarmac meeting between President Clinton and AG Lynch is a vivid example of why many Americans believe the Obama administration’s criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton was rigged.”

Fitton added that now “it’s up to Attorney General Sessions at the Trump Justice Department to finally shed some light on the subversion of justice.

The American people deserve to get answers about this meeting.

Will they finally get them?

Under Loretta Lynch’s leadership, the Department of Justice was unlikely to supply the truth.

Even the Department of Justice was subverted to serve partisan ends.

But the Trump administration has the ability to set things right.

Critics of the Obama administration have confidence Attorney General Jeff Sessions will not allow the cover-up of Lynch’s meeting with Bill Clinton to continue.

The Democrats and media might not like the answers they get.

However, answers are what the American people deserve.
