A couple of massive revelations regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email address to transmit classified intelligence were unearthed at a congressional hearing Thursday.

During the hearing, Rep. Darrell Issa of California revealed that Clinton’s private computer specialist, Paul Combetta, had made a post on the Reddit social media site asking for help regarding how to scrub archived email messages, Heat Street reported.

“I may be facing a very interesting situation where I need to strip out a VIP’s (VERY VIP) email address from a bunch of archived email that I have both in a live Exchange mailbox, as well as a PST file,” the post reportedly read.

Now here’s what Issa asked FBI Director James Comey during Thursday’s hearing: “Is he destroying evidence relevant to congressional inquiries … I’ll answer it for you: Yes, he is.”

That was revelation number one.

“And what are you going to do about it?” he then asked.

The true answer was probably “nothing,” especially since Comey’s FBI had already granted Combetta immunity. Moreover, administrators at Reddit have reportedly been stonewalling, preventing Congress from gaining access to the now-deleted posts.

Plus — and here’s revelation number two — the FBI knew that Combetta had scoured Clinton’s server clean after Congress instructed him to leave the emails be, yet it handed him immunity anyway.

“For the record, the Department of Justice does not grant immunity without checking with federal law enforcement to see whether it will impact any ongoing investigation,” Issa pointed out.

Was Comey really listening, though? Probably not.

The full exchange between the two can be heard below:
