The White House removed their threat to veto the bill because the conference committee modified the bill to give them what they wanted- “more flexibility.”
Now it goes to the Senate. Nothing short of a miracle can save us now. I guess there is always the outside chance that 500,000 people will care enough to call their Senators. Notice the number of House reps who voted no – 136. There are only 100 senators and all we need is a majority. Post to facebook, twitter and occupy sites – we need all hands on deck.
