Attn. Americans: H.R. 2454, aka. "Cap-and-Trade" bill aka. "Climate bill", if passed and signed into law, WOULD BE THE LARGEST TAX INCREASE ON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN AMERICAN HISTORY! Is this the CHANGE you voted for? I thought not.

Friday, July 24, 2009 Democrats narrowly passed House Resolution bill, H.R. 2454, aka. "Cap-and-trade" bill, aka. "Climate bill" 219 to 212.

Tuesday, 9-15-2009 members of the "Senate Environment and Public Works Committee" took up the "Cap-and-trade" legislation. Committee Republicans attacked the cap-and-trade system as a giant tax hike on consumers while Democrats said the U.S. must develop new sources of energy and clean the environment.

H.R. 2454 aka. "Cap-and-Trade" bill, if passed, would create a huge redistribution of wealth from your wallets to the Global Warming industry, including lobbyists, utility companies and the Federal Government. This bill will contribute to further unemployment in America and the reduction of Federal treasury revenues. What's worst, it will do nothing to change Global warming.

President Obama admitted that, “[U]nder my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

Those that have looked at the specifics tell us that the average utility bill in America will go from $167 to $307 per month, per family.

Warren Buffet, the president's own adviser is now openly opposing this bill in the media.

"Blue Dog" Democrats got hammered by constituents during the August recess regarding this bill and others.

Over one million anti-tax Democrat, Republican, and Independent voters went to Washington D.C. on September 12 to protest against this bill and other recently proposed bills, as well as recent government actions.

THE CLIMATE BILL [Cap & Trade Bill H.R. 2454] will "audit every aspect of your home and life". Under this bill, MANDATORY HOME INSPECTIONS will be forced on every homeowner. Guess what comes next? Yes, you guessed it, MANDATORY UPGRADES.

What is a home energy audit? It is an intrusive visit made by the bureaucrats at the Home Energy Team or a similar group. They will examine and report the way you live your life directly to RESNET (Residential Energy Services Network) . Light fixtures, socket types, spas, hot tubs, windows, appliances, walls and roofs will all be under review. Energy tests will be conducted throughout your house. At the end of the visit you will receive a report and a rating. The report will focus on the changes you need to make and the rating is called a HERS rating (Home Energy Rating System). RESNET will perform the audits through authorized contractors. RESNET has adopted the Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards. The standards set the national procedures for home energy ratings.

Regulations already in place in some cities for non-residential buildings carry fines of $2000 each time bureaucrats are prevented from carrying out inspections. This will simply be expanded to cover all premises under the new climate bill.

Holding on to your hard-earned money is not the only reason you should help defeat H.R. 2454, aka "Cap and Trade bill" aka. "Climate bill". This bill has been created with PHONY SCIENCE, often referred to as "JUNK SCIENCE", produced by "compromised scientists" and "science-fiction writers", bought and paid for by the Global Warming industry. This is a 10,000 person industry. Beneficiaries of the bill stand to loose a fortune if this bill fails to be voted into law.
