The 5-Day Online Bill Pledge

During the campaign, Barack Obama promised to post every bill that passed Congress online for five days before signing the legislation, to give the public a chance to comment.
Five months into his presidency, the White House hasn’t followed through on that five-day pledge. The issue is a bit more complex than a simple broken campaign promise, as you can see in our video of the issue.

How many US Congressman read and understood the PATRIOT ACT BEFORE it was voted on? Final draft version was released at 3:00 AM before the vote at 11:00 AM on October 26, 2001. It was 343 pages long….that is 43 pages per hour of the most complex legislation in US history! I bet most of our Representatives still have not read it 7 years after it became ‘Law of the Land’!
I wonder if Mr. Soetoro read it before he voted for it?
All proposed Legislation needs be posted on official government websites before it is even scheduled for a vote. This will allow time for Citizens AND the Legislators to work together to enact the will of the people. This would be a new experience for all involved…
Citizens must be able to read the bills long before the Legislators are scheduled to vote!!!!

One of the last major pieces of legislation passed by a congress which never actually read the document was the US Patriot Act.
And we know just how much of a body blow to the Constitution and Bill of Rights that was.
This is a complete fraud, and will do nothing to actually help the environment.
It will, with what will be essentially a surcharge on energy you use, make certain individuals more filthy rich than they already are.

The question now is will Harry Reid ram rod this legislation through the Senate (like Pelosi) for Mr. Soetoro's illegal signature!
