Hello Ann & Patrick here's the response you get when you inform the bozo that if you vote for the stimulus package "I WON'T VOTE FOR YOU"

Dear Mr. F.
Thank you for contacting me regarding the state of our nation's economy and the dire situation facing some of our largest financial institutions. I appreciate knowing your views.
This unprecedented financial crisis requires strong leadership, prompt response and sensible action in order to restore a sound foundation to financial markets, get our economy on its feet, and eliminate this burden on hardworking middle-class Americans. That is why I commend lawmakers for coming together and passing the economic rescue bill. I'm glad I was able to help bring my colleagues in the House of Representatives to the table.
This package provides for oversight and transparency to ensure that we are good stewards of the taxpayer's money and I believe that the taxpayer protections that were added have improved the bill. It will generate real relief to tight conditions in credit markets and includes measures that provide accountability on the part of those assisted in exchange for government financial assistance.
This rescue plan is not perfect, and it is an outrage that it's even necessary. But we must stop the damage to our economy done by corrupt and incompetent practices on Wall Street and in Washington. The action Congress recently took is a tourniquet, not a permanent solution. Our economy is still hurting and further action is needed, and it should not take a crisis to get this Congress to act.
Clearly, we have much work ahead of us and the American public is counting on us to fulfill the jobs that they sent us here to do. We need to work together to institute sound policies that will stimulate and strengthen our economy and promote our nation's long-term economic growth.
Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts on this very important matter. Please feel free to contact me on this or any other issue of concern.
Sincerely,
John McCain
United States Senator

Re: Response to Phone calls to D.C.
To all Fourwinds readers,
regarding SJ's response to this topic and the email received by MF from Senator McCain, I highly recommend that you instead send in a hand-written or typed letter or call the office directly. I used to work for my local state government and was responsible for responding to letters to my Governor. Emails are generated extremely easily when responding to constituents which responding by phone or by mail requires that a person, usually not the elected representative, must take the time to generate a response.
Even better, each Senator and Congressmen has a team of assistants and interns working in both their D.C. office and their local state office. Find out the names of each of these individuals and call to speak with them directly. Find out what their speciality is because often times certain assistants or interns are assigned to specific subjects or areas based on their education or experience. You are not going to get to speak with the Senator or Congressmen but speaking with these people serves two purposes: 1) You may make them aware of an issue that they did not previously possess knowledge of; 2) you could spark an interest for them to go out and search out the truth and additional information on the topic.
Many times, I have called my local respresentatives offices and spoken at great length with the assistants and interns. From the get-go, I made them aware that my purpose was not to convince them to speak with the Senator or Congressmen about any issue or subject as I knew that would be futile (our elected leaders are all corrupt and traitors anyway so there isn't much an assistant or intern is going to be able to do to change the system at this point in time). I told them I was calling so that I could share with them some information that may not be readily available to them or to provide a different perspective on important issues than the ones our elected leaders expect people to believe. Some of the conversations have gone over quite well while others have not. Some people are willing to at least listen to what our society considers "conspiracy theory", some actually become interested, and some become quite aggressive in their responses, arguing that if it\'s not in the MSM, it's not true or that I need to seek professional psychiatric help. The one greatest common denominator I find is that in almost every situation, the person I spoke with had almost no knowledge of the alternative theories and ideas I was presenting to them. Maybe they are too busy and have no time to do any research outside of the field in which they work or maybe they are so ingrained into the curriculum and rules of politics that they never considered an alternative but their ignorance of alternative views was plainly evident.
I have provided many of the people I spoke with links to websites and titles of books with which they can use to form a more encompassing picture of what is occuring in our country. I honestly don't know if they were open-minded enough and took them time to look into the subjects but regardless, but I fulfilled my purpose in presenting the information just as the Pheonix Journals are presented to us. It is up to each individual to make up their mind and decide what path to take in life.
Maybe if more people started calling and speaking with this future generation of leaders, many of whom may be ignorant of the truth and (at this time) innocent of any wrongdoings, we can help to shape the future leaders of our country in another direction. The primary reasons that alternative theories get little attention is because they aren't shown in mainstream media and very few people acknowledge their plausability. But if more people attempt to present the information to as many people as possible, eventually a critical mass point will be reached where the ideas can no longer be ignored and the truth can no longer be suppressed.
I refuse to believe that EVERYONE working in Washington is corrupt and still have faith that there are white knights and lightworkers in every branch and facet of government still working on the betterment of humanity. They say the truth shall set you free. Share the truth with as many people as are willing to listen and we can help bring light to the dark forces on Earth Shan and help to raise the vibration of our planet as high as possible.
Aloha,
K.T.
