Subject: Wow, we hit some big targets this month
In a matter of hours we will probably eclipse our January numbers for recruiting new Downsizers. We recruited 1,114 last month. As of this morning we are at 1,112 for February.
Yesterday, we sailed past our January mark for messages to Congress. We also topped 50,000 messages for the first time ever. The mark for last month was 49,041. This morning we're at 50,217 messages for February!
We accomplished this in spite of the fact that we gave you the wrong link yesterday, sending Downsizers to our campaign to repeal the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act, instead of to the Real ID campaign. We apologize for the mistake, and we thank everyone who was resourceful, and sent a message anyway.
Now, we only have one last little target to hit for February. We still need to raise $1,721 to meet budget for this month. We only have today and tomorrow left to get it done. Here's what would do it . . .
