FED Matrix In The States/Anti-terrorism Network!

Smaller Font Larger Font RSS 2.0

Congress just denied the TIA - Terrorists Information Awareness, formerly Total Information Awareness, but as usual they do not stop the scheme... they give it another name and here we see this unconstitional takeover moving forward....

The feds are doing this because Oregon is saying no to the federal coersion. Now, we are seeing the legislature BEND OVER to compromise, having stood recently and said no to 50 federal grants that are compromising the people in the state with unconstitutional mandates and services with agendas attached to the receiving of the revenue, compelled contracts on the states.

Congressman Ron Wyden was written in the paper as having helped stop the TIA program. Now we see Wyden had another scheme all along in place for Oregon..... this is the usual way these traitors manipulate the public knowledge while using processes the people cant follow and thus dont see.....

Wyden in particular is a traitor - took his oath on the TALMUD, compromised the courts for a federal takeover while destroying the TRUTH as the standard in a court (see Federal Investigations Enhancement Act, Kenneth Ludden Bill, and companion BAR Rule DR-102) Information about these issues on our website.

The legisltors are writing a whole bunch of federal compliance Bills of Attainder in the legislature right now, including life in prison for protestors, China courts, total FRAUD and TREASON, by design..... and multitudes of exceptions for themselves...... they are working on passing these bills right now in secret meetings without the vote authority or knowledge of the people ....

Oregon To Participate In Anti-terrorism Network

The Associated Press 8/2/2003, 11:23 a.m. PT

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) < Oregon is one of 13 states participating in a program designed to allow agencies to exchange sensitive information on terrorism and other crime suspects.

Matrix, short for Multistate Anti-Terrorism Information Exchange, is a pilot project intended to improve the exchange of information among federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. The program has received $4 million in Justice Department funding.

Other participating states are: Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Ohio, and Utah.

But the pilot program has already hit some snags: the interim head of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is calling for an investigation after a man once implicated in a Bahamian drug ring was hired to help create the network.

Millionaire Hank Asher of Boca Raton, a friend of recently retired FDLE director James "Tim" Moore and a major political contributor, was never charged with drug smuggling. He served as an informant and witness after being implicated in the Bahamian drug ring in the 1980s.

A $1.6 million contract with FDLE calls on Asher's company, Seisint Inc., to participate in Matrix.

Asher's first company, DBT Online Inc., bought him out for $147 million in 1999 after the FBI and the Drug Enforcement Administration suspended its contracts over Asher's past and concerns that the company could potentially monitor targets of investigations.

Interim FDLE head Daryl McLaughlin said Friday that he believes the agency's background check on Asher and Seisint was not sufficient. He asked the Miami office to conduct a complete assessment.

"I have reviewed the review, and you have told me stuff we didn't know," McLaughlin told the St. Petersburg Times for Saturday editions. "We should know more about a company we are doing business with."

Asher has not charged FDLE for many of his services, McLaughlin said. Seisint technology has been demonstrated for Vice President Dick Cheney and Gov. Jeb Bush.

A call for comment Saturday to an FDLE spokeswoman was not immediately returned.

Documents filed by prosecutors in Chicago identified Asher as a pilot and former smuggler who lived on Great Harbor Cay in the Bahamas. FDLE files say informants described Asher as someone who provided police protection for Bahamian smugglers.

Paul Cameron, president of Seisint, said he was unaware of Asher's drug-related past. He said Asher was on a fishing trip and could not be reached for comment.

Martha Barnett, former president of the American Bar Association and a member of Seisint's board of directors, said she had heard of past allegations about Asher but called him "a creative genius" in information technology.

"The truth is it's not about Hank Asher any more," she said. "He's come up with a terribly important product."

The FBI issued a commendation to Seisint last year for "exceptional services in the public interest." The Secret Service awarded a certificate of appreciation to the company for its contributions to law enforcement. Supercomputers power its Seisint's Accurint database service, which it says offers "deeper and more comprehensive" searches than its competitors.

Asher has donated more than $735,000 to political parties and candidates in the past five years, including $505,000 to Democrats.
