It is no secret that the state of California is in decline. The state has seen many difficulties in recent years and many of these issues are self-inflicted. Here are the biggest reasons that California is failing:

    1.) Homeless Population

The homeless population in California has reached a disgusting new level. The state ends up with more and more people living on the street with each passing night. As of 2019 there are an estimated60,000 individuals sleeping on the street each night in Los Angeles alone.

    2.) Immigration

As California welcomes illegal immigrants they are expanding the strain on their resources. This limitless immigration is resulting in draining of the state's social safety netand the social safety net can not be repaired because these illegal immigrants are not paying taxes.

3.) Trash, Needles, and Human Waste

San Francisco used to be a liberal Mecca, now it is riddled with Human feces and used needles. The once-great American city fell victim to the Democrat’s high tax policies that made housing unaffordable. The issue is so bad that maps have been created to show what areas to avoid.

    4.) High Taxes

The high taxes have caused many to leave the stateand those that can’t afford the taxes and can’t afford to leave usually end up on the street. This is one of the major problems that California is facing and it is showing no signs of ending.

    5.) Rampant Crime

Crime is a major problem in California. Illegal immigration is one of the crimes that fuels others. California's violent crime rate is higher than the national average and the state has a variety of issues involving non-violent crime. Rampant use of illegal drugs and gang activity are a constant threat for average citizens who live in and around the major cities.
