Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff  Mike Mullen has promised the regime in Tel Aviv more of Washington’s unconditional support,one which was reiterated previously by the then presidential hopeful Barack Obama in 2008.

Mullen said that the US would “always stand by Israel”, while attending a farewell party for Tel Aviv’s military attaché Major-General Benny Gantz, Ynet news reported.

A number of other senior American officials, including the head of the Middle East desk Dan Shapiro, and Undersecretary of Defense Michele Flournoy accompanied Chief of Staff Mullen at the ceremony.

Mullen stated that ”the attendance of top US military officials showed that Tel Aviv and Washington shared strong ties.”

This statement,along with the recent refusal to stop Israel from expanding illegal settlements in East Jerusalem,makes up enough sufficient evidence for American citizens to base judgment on in terms of who is working for the United States and who is a makeshift mouth-piece for Israel.

To continue,according to PressTV, other military attachés from Egypt and Morocco were also sighted at the party,which was created in order to honor a man who is returning to Tel Aviv to assume the second most high-ranking post of the Israeli military.

The amount of declared interest Washington has in the State of Israel goes beyond civil diplomatic ties and convenient parties held by high ranking officers. Israel does all the dirty work for the United States in terms of International Affairs and the American people have been paying for it,though sadly enough – only a small percentage of them seem know (or care for that matter).

Only a minority of Americans are aware of the fact that Israel is the largest recipient of U.S. foreign aid,and that Israel’s aid consumes “more than half of the U.S. bi-lateral foreign aid budget in the entire world.” according to Washington Report Executive Richard H. Curtiss.

From 1948 until 1997 the United States of American has delivered,with no strings attached,a whopping $91 Billion dollars – and counting.

To put this into closer perspective – America’s $91Billion in aid to Israel from fiscal years 1949 through 1997,and the cumulative interest the United States paid to borrow this money, has cost U.S. taxpayers $134.8 billion, and this,according to Washington Report,has not even  been adjusted for inflation. So,nearly $14,630 is being paid to every one of the meager 5.8 million Israelis and this has cost American taxpayers at least $23,240 per Israeli [these statistics are only from the year 1948 until 1997].

Not only did the United States give Israel over $91Billion in foreign aid ["signed,sealed delivered -we're yours..."] much of this aid was borrowed – thus it was money we did not even have,putting our nation in outstanding debt without even taking the interest into consideration.

What is all this money going into? Weaponry of course! 

How can a ”poor,little defenseless state”,as Zionists love to cry out in chorus, be without $1.3 billion dolars for a cancelled Lavi attack fighter project, or $628 million for an ongoing Arrow anti-missile project, and finally a $200 million for a Merkava tank?!

According to Congressional advisor,Shirl McArthur,”the United States gives Israel all of its economic aid directly in cash, without requiring an accounting of how the funds are used. In contrast, aid to the Palestinian Authority is strictly controlled by the U.S. Agency for International Development  and is specified for particular programs, mostly for civil infrastructure projects. Special mention should also be made of the Wye agreement. All of the $400 million promised to the PA in the agreement is for economic aid, whereas all of the $1.2 billion for Israel is for specific military projects. ”

If anyone is thinking that the policy towards Israel has changed in the least since the election of Barack Obama I would have to beg to differ – we currently have another mouth-piece for Israel having his strings pulled in whatever direction they want him to go.
