Democrats across the country must be growing increasingly nervous about their prospects of winning the November election with Hillary Clinton as their candidate. On Wednesday a new State Department Inspector General report was released to the media, and it should prove incredibly damaging to the Clinton campaign.

In his report the State Department IG finds that Hillary Clinton knowingly violated federal government rules in setting up her private server (a corresponding story in the news today adds that Clinton did so because she worried more about protecting her personal emails than she did protecting state secrets), and secondly the IG report shows that Clinton and her team have been willfully impeding the governments investigation!

Over at HotAir John Sexton explains what this means for the campaign:

Prior to today the silence and secrecy around the FBI investigation of Clinton’s private server meant there was relatively little detailed information in the public domain. And that meant that Clinton and her team could say almost anything about the matter without fear of contradiction.

For instance, she could claim, as she did last March, “I fully complied with every rule that I was governed by.” She could claim (again from last March) that she set up the server because “I thought it would be easier to carry just one device for my work and for my personal emails instead of two.” She could claim, as she did two weeks ago, “I’m more than ready to talk to anybody, anytime.” And she could claim, as she did early on, that her private server was perfectly secure because it was guarded by the Secret Service. Well, Hillary can’t say any of those things after today.

Why can’t she (or her team) say these things anymore? Because the IG Report debunks them with facts and evidence uncovered in the investigation.

The IG discovered that Clinton never sought approval for anything she did from the government’s senior information officers and she routinely broke government protocol by accessing her personal email account and private server through unsecure devices.

“By Secretary Clinton’s tenure, the department’s guidance was considerably more detailed and more sophisticated,” it concluded. “Secretary Clinton’s cybersecurity practices accordingly must be evaluated in light of these more comprehensive directives.” Further, “Therefore, Secretary Clinton should have preserved any Federal records she created and received on her personal account by printing and filing those records with the related files in the Office of the Secretary,” the report states. “At a minimum, Secretary Clinton should have surrendered all emails dealing with Department business before leaving government service and, because she did not do so, she did not comply with the Department’s policies that were implemented in accordance with the Federal Records Act.”

HillaryforPrison2016If the FBI has even a portion of the information that the IG discusses in his report (and they do), then there can really be no doubt that they’ve come to a similar conclusion on Clinton’s obvious crimes. This disclosure would be bad enough on it’s own, but the report doesn’t stop there, as it also discusses the manner in which Clinton and her associates have been impeding the government’s investigation.

While current Secretary of State John Kerry, and past Secretaries as well, have all sat down and discussed the case with investigators, Secretary Clinton has thus far declined. But it’s not just Clinton who has held her tongue. No, her chief operatives have also chosen to stonewall investigators. Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills, Jake Sullivan and other Clinton cronies have all chosen to remain silent rather than help investigators untangle the knot of Clinton corruption. In fact, only 5 of Clinton’s current and former aides have cooperated with the investigation thus far.

Only five of the 26 current and former Clinton aides responded to questionnaires sent by the watchdog office. Clinton herself turned down a request to be interviewed.

In addition to Clinton, four close staffers conducted “extensive use of personal email accounts,” the inspector general said, adding up to nearly 72,000 pages worth of messages. In doing so, they also violated the State Department’s record-keeping policies.

(Sidebar: Wow. You’d think that these 26 Clinton aides must believe that she was their employer and not the American people! It’s disgusting to consider how quickly these people have turned against their own nation and chosen instead to give their allegiance to Hillary Clinton. They are traitors, both figuratively and literally. They have sold out their nation for the hope of remaining in the Clinton family’s good graces.)

However, things do get worse for Clinton in the IG report. The IG found that along with her silence, Clinton had also misled the investigators about the personal emails that she had turned over to them.

In late 2014, Clinton gave the State Department roughly 30,000 emails from her personal machine. Another batch containing roughly the same number of emails, which she said were purely personal, was deleted.

Critics of Clinton have questioned that move, and the chief litigant in the open records lawsuits has said he hopes to obtain all the deleted messages.

The stack of approximately 55,000 pages of emails Clinton gave to the federal government “was incomplete,” the inspector general noted in its report, pointing to multiple emails inspectors found through other means.

The New York Times puts it even more ominously when they say, “Mrs. Clinton belatedly turned over 55,000 pages of emails to the State Department, which she said were all the records “in her custody.”

But investigators determined that her production of those records was “incomplete,” and they found gaps in the documents that she turned over.”

At the end of the day, the point of all of this is simple. Hillary Clinton is an untrustworthy person who has always put her own interests ahead of our nation. Hillary Clinton should be wearing an orange jumpsuit while sitting in a rectangular prison cell, not her favorite pantsuit while standing in the Oval Office.

Hillary Clinton for PRISON in 2016!
