On Thursday morning, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appeared before a House committee to testify about the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack.
Throughout her testimony, Hillary did her best to appear disinterested in the proceedings and to act like she was above it all, but she couldn’t hide her reaction when Rep. Susan Brooks (R-Ind.) brought out new stacks of her emails.
“I’d like to show you something,” Brooks said to Hillary as she pulled out the stacks, according to The Blaze.
Brooks told the committee that in one stack were the emails that Hillary sent or received on Libya in 2011. In the other pile were emails about Libya she sent or received from early 2012 until the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack that killed four Americans.
“There are 795 emails in this pile,” Brooks said of the first stack. “There are 67 emails in this pile in 2012. And I’m troubled by what I see here.”
According to Brooks, there were “daily updates” about Libya in the 2011 emails, but there were only a “handful” of emails about it in 2012.
“We know from talking to your senior advisers that they knew…to send you important information,” Brooks added. “I can only conclude by your own records that there was a lack in interest in Libya in 2012.”
