Lisa Page, Peter Strzok, and the plot to destroy the Trump Presidency before it even began is a story that will never be fully heard, but this new book might help fill in some of the remaining gaps. The book “Deep State” by James B. Stewart reveals a lot the public didn't know about the Russia investigation and what lead up to it. This book even reveals which cabinet members wanted to oust Trump using the 25th Amendment. Here is what “Deep State” reveals:

1.) Weiner Emails

The Anthony Weiner emails would never have been found if it weren’t for a low level FBI agent that was determined to figure it all out. This agent was ignored by his superior officers so he went outside the chain of command and handed the evidence to the New York authorities who would end up prosecuting Weiner and exposing more negligence on the part of Hillary Clinton in the process. This forced Comey’s hand and made him reopen the investigation.

2.) Who Wanted to Use the 25th?

It was alleged that Rod Rosenstein wanted to use the 25th amendment to remove Trump from office, he allegedly had two cabinet members on his side, we now know who these two are. Jeff Sessions and John Kelly are allegedly the two members of the cabinet who wanted to remove Trump using the 25th amendment.

3.) The Affair, More Than We Know?

The affair between agents Strzok and Page affected a lot more than a marriage. The affair occupied so much of Strzok’s time that he delegated most of his work to another colleague. Andrew McCabe had been notified of this but put little effort into doing anything about this blatant misuse of time. Why does this matter? This goes to show how little care went into investigating the President, they didn’t care how they got it so long as they got impeachment.

4.) Soros, Comey, and Schultzt

It is alleged in the book that an email that went between Debbie Washermen Schultzt, the then head of the DNC, and an executive at the Open Society Fund alluded to Schultzt knowing that Loretta Lynch, the then-Attorney General, was going to kill the investigation into Hillary Clinton. This email allegedly happened around the time of the infamous meeting between Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch. The timing of all this is suspect at the very least.

5.) Not There Yet

Andrew McCabe was told by Rod Rosenstein that “(he) was never searched” and that he was willing to “wear a wire”. It is reported that a similar conversation to this had happened again after a great deal of time had passed. After the first instance, Andrew McCabe had gone out and told his colleagues this to which one replied “we are not there yet” implying that wiretapping the President was an option, but not yet.
