July 22, 2016

Tom Watts is running for Sheriff in Adams County, Idaho, against Sheriff Ryan Zollman. Zollman employs and constantly defends deputies Brian Wood and Cody Roland, who shot and killed 62-year-old rancher Jack Yantis on the road in front of his ranch last November 1st. Watts is a lifelong lawman who never had a complaint filed against him. His campaign website states, in part, "I proudly served my community as a law enforcement officer for over 20 years in Nevada without ever having a citizen file a complaint against me. I have also worked private security for mining companies in that area. I moved to Adams County in 2012. It has been my pleasure to simply be a part of this community, and it was my intention to retire from law enforcement. I have been moved to run for this office by the serious issues facing our county, and our nation."
