THE LOOTING OF SOCIAL SECURITY TO BALANCE THE FEDERAL BUDGET

I wrote the above words back in the last years of the Clinton administration. Today we are seeing the Congress openly talk about massive cuts to Social Security or even its outright termination. The spin is that the "burden" has become too great for the government, but that argument obscures the reality that the government itself took the money paid into Social Security by Americans and spent it someplace else. Like a corrupt Wall Street CEO, Washington DC has embezzeled the retirement funds of every American worker, and the government is trying to think of some way to make you think it is somehow all your fault, but it isn't. Your retirement has been stolen to fund wars, Israel, and bailouts for Wall Street bankers.
