Putting the Bailout and National Debt into Perspective

In Lengths of Dollars and Time….
A dollar is about 6 ¼ inches long. Let’s just make it 6 inches. Therefore1 foot equals 2 dollars .
There are 5,280 feet in 1 mile. Multiply 5,280 by 2 to see how many dollars are in a mile. The Answer is 10,560 dollars.
The supposed ‘bailout’ was said to be (sold to us at ) 700 billion.
Divide 700,000,000,000 by 2 (2 dollars per foot at 6 inches per dollar) to get the total number of feet.
The answer is 350,000,000,000 feet.
Divide 350,000,000,000 feet by 5280 feet in a mile and you get a length of dollars representing the bailout. The answer is 66,287,879 miles.
The distance between LA and NYC is 2,462 miles. Multiplied by the length of dollars per mile: ($10,560) by 2462 miles and you have a dollar distance of $25,998,720 ONE WAY !
A Round trip is equal to $51,997,440 dollars (distance/round trip).
The Bailout is said to be only $700,000,000,000. (If you believe that – you trust our public servants with the Truth and our best interests. Don’t hold your breath. Or, may you have been holding it too long already. Breath man! Breath Man! Wake up too !)
You will have to perform 13,462 round trip flights to equal the Bailout.
And, if you were able to do a single round trip every 10 hours, it would take you 134,622 hours to complete the number of round trips required to complete the distance/trips in length of dollars.
Oh, and by the way, that’s 5,609 days which is 15 years. And, rest assured the airline will have lost your luggage on the first or second flight. (And some people wonder why other people want to fly naked!)
The National Debt will soon be raised to 11.314 trillion.
You will have to perform 217,588 round trip flights to equal the new Debt limit.
And if you were able to do a single round trip every 10 hours- it would take you 2,175,876 hours to complete the number of round trips required to complete the distance in length of dollars.
Oh, and by the way, that’s 90,662 days which is 248 years.
No joke; except one- the jokes on us.
One thing is certain. The thieve that have created this mess, when they die, will be in hell in a blink of an eye. And that blink of an eye also reflects the value of an unrepentant soul- in length of dollars!
