Bernanke Defends Bond Purchases in Signal of More Fed Easing

Quantitative Easing is simply the Fed trading dollars for bonds, the bonds on which everyone knows the US maintain interest payments. It is clear that the coming shock of the sequestration of purchasing power in the domestic loop in January is not going to make international investors "more confident" in the US's "committement to honor its debt obligations" - but rather they already know that the resulting deflation, the contraction of purchasing power, the giant cut in aggregate demand is going to break the back of the US economy.

What the hell kind of euphemism is "easing" for this process -- this bail of the murderers and plunderers. Dollars, not bonds and not gold and not Euros is king. The dollar is an international currency independent of the United States. It is being kept from the United States. They profit from deflation here. They don't want our products. They want our land, our resources, our public utilities, the last of our domestically owned properties of value.
