From The Woodpile Report . . .

Drivers were trapped on gridlocked, snowy roads for hours. Middle schoolers in New Jersey had to spend the night at school. The upper level of the George Washington Bridge came to a standstill with drivers abandoning their cars. Students were trapped on school buses snarled in traffic for hours with no bathroom or food. “We're going to do a full review,” mayor de Blasio said in an interview.

This is another example of government unable or unwilling to perform its basic duties. As Tucker Carlson put it, "Keeping the roads clear, the fires quenched, the votes counted, these are the core functions of government and they can't do them" . Yet somehow there are always enough resources to ensure illegal aliens aren't inconvenienced and global warming activists are funded.

Even aside from this, since when did six inches of snow merit a state of emergency? What are they running, the world's biggest home for the clueless and lame? Does the mayor really believe dealing with half a foot of snow requires heroism? Has he noticed inland cities at the same general latitude manage snow without all the pratfalls and press conferences? Is NY City really this fragile?

They have no idea how comical this stuff is. No idea.
