The classic mob joint that was featured in films including Oceans 11 and Diamonds are Forever closed last May

During its heyday the venue hosted the Las Vegas residences of iconic performers including Dean Martin and Liberace

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority bought the 2,075-room property across 26 acres last year for $182.5 million

The site will now be used to expand the Las Vegas Convention Center
