Before It’s News recently had a disturbing email conversation with a representative from the Nuclear Emergency Tracking Center that must be spread far and wide. For the last several months, Before It’s News has been tracking RADCON 5 Alerts from the NETC; we had believed that these were the most important alerts, alerts which necessitated email alerts from the NETC to their subscribers noting that 3 month CPM highs had been reached in their areas. A failure to issue further RADCON 5 Alerts is not a good thing as these levels show that HIGH levels of radiation on the West Coast has become the ‘new’ normal.
