Radioactive Explosions Inside the U.S. - HELP!

In short, they are poison gassing not "just" the Middle East (as if that's not heinous enough!) but they are also nuking us here at home. I am sick over this as I know a great deal about DU. They are, in effect, nuking our own citizens, right here, in our own country. No lie.
I am looking to help raise monies for attorneys in the SF area to fight the Livermore Lab explosions. (Yes, there are more places where they are exploding DU and other radioactive substances out into the open air in the US, but I have to look at this as one fight at a time). There is a hearing appeal on Feb. 7 in Modesto and they are not going to win without some good legal representation and expert witnesses. And, as you know, they don't come cheap.
The organization helping is Tri-Valley CARES http://www.trivalleycares.org/ and the lead local activist there is Bob Sarvey at Sarveybob@aol.com . Tri-Valley has only one staff attorney who does not have vast expertise in trying such radioactivity in the environment cases.
If I lived in CA? I would have already organized a fund raiser. But am in Maryland and can't come out that way and stay there right now.
What am I asking for? Your thoughts. Your brainstorming. Your contacts to people who know people who know some famous people - attorneys, celebrities, anyone you can think of. Everyone knows someone who knows someone who knows someone who can make a difference!
There are many people I know and care about in the SF Bay area. This is where many of my activist friends live and work. They are breathing in this radioactive poison dust - and have been, for nigh on 50 years. But now Livermore has a permit already in effect to amplify these explosives by eight (yes, 8) times annually!
I have included resources below. Your thoughts, ideas, contacts, etc. would be priceless and much appreciated! I have been unable to sleep, trying to figure out what we can DO to stop these radioactive explosions inside the US!
