Why not at least try to contact your elected representatives and make a suggestion… like how about sending Haiti a ton or two of plastic tarps, ASAP?
If you really have a heart then it seems that would be more satisfying and productive than to pull a “Cheney” by predicting a problem, and acting as if you really care if such a “problem” happens, while, secretly in your heart of hearts, you wish that the “problem” would happen.
Anything to be partisan and decry the current Administration.
That is what I read into these “just wait and see” predictions from the right.

The whole World especially the USA is collecting emergency food, medicine and supplies for Haiti, They are flying them into a small crowded airport and must unload and get the planes out as soon possible so others can land.
There will not be enough warehouses to store the supplies in and the cardboard boxes you see the collections in on TV will be stacked up outdoors.
It will rain, Cause the boxes to disintegrated and collapse and in their ultimate wisdom the directors of the operation will declare the supplies destroyed, Because you would not want to insult people who have nothing by giving them supplies that are a little soggy !!
Just wait ! And see
