In 2011 we volunteered to restore a four acre plot of the Black Hills Forest. The dead and down trees needed to be cut for wood or stacked for burning. The live trees needed to be thinned out, so they could grow, and the diseased and deformed trees needed to be removed. As a retired U.S. Forest Service forester, Patrick was glad to tackle this job, and Anne was willing to help. This is part of our “Kennedy physical fitness program”, and a way to renew our positive energy in nature when time allows. We have been able to sell some firewood to help with the Fourwinds budget.
Our office work never ends. We just quit for the day. We enjoy our work on Fourwinds. It does not seem like sixteen years have flown by since we began. It is true that “time flies when you are having fun”.
May peace and joy come to our troubled world, as we each share it from our own heart center. We shall ring the bells to spread the Light of Truth for as long as it takes.
